COZs guided wine tasting @ Swift & Sons

Join us in the Wellington Room at Swift & Sons as we welcome Tiago Teles and António Marques-da-Cruz, the winemakers behind COZs (Alentejo, Portugal), for a guided tasting of their wines. These are not your average wines. COZs works with indigenous grape varieties, wild fermentations, amphora, and minimal intervention, producing wines that are raw, vibrant, and deeply expressive of place.

Guests will taste through a selection of COZs wines while the winemakers share insights into their vineyards, native Portuguese grapes, and approach to natural winemaking. The evening will be guided by Colin Hofer, General Manager of Swift & Sons, and will conclude with an open Q&A and time to mingle with the producers.

$50 ticket Includes: • 5 wine pours • Guided tasting with the winemakers • Light Bites (Cheese/Charcuterie) Limited to 30 guests.

It produces low-intervention, terroir-driven natural wines from schist soils, including cuvées like Point Triple, Luminescence, and Harvest Moon. The name derives from the French word for firefly, inspired by Dauré working in the vineyards with a headlamp before dawn.
